Choreographer Christoph Winkler has been working with performers Ridwan Rasheed, Oluwafemi Adebajo and Michael Gagawala Kaddu for a long time. In the piece »Songs & Dances about the Weather« he simultaneously addresses the phenomenon of melting glaciers and the performers’ stories about rainmaking rituals in their home countries. In »Schrumpf! Songs & Dances« we watch an excerpt from the piece, in which 3D images projected in the middle of the room, thanks to a specially designed curtain system, depict in detail the different stories and places. We move along with the performers, listening to their stories and telling our own stories about rain and water in our everyday lives.
LOUDsoft is a think tank for projects that create access to the world of classical or contemporary music and musical theater for children, young people and their parents. LOUDsoft was founded in 2018 by violinist and performer Daniella Strasfogel, out of an impulse to create family events that she herself would love to go to with her family. LOUDsoft seeks to build bridges between the worlds of children’s art and adult art, bringing interactive and challenging musical experiences to the stage for young people and their families.
